Ken Epsman purchased the Dye 1957 Corvette from Chip Miller in 2000. Ken hoped to race the car on the vintage racing circuit on the west coast. Ken made a few safety related changes to the car - Ken increased the height of the rollbar and added a fuel cell. To prepare for the 2002 Monterey Historics, Ken had the engine and FI unit rebuilt. Kens work paid off - Ken won the 2002 Monterey Historics, racing against a field of 21 other Corvettes, 3 Ferraris, a MBZ 300SL and a handful of other vintage race cars.

I intend to continue to race the car, and hopefully not detract from the story so far of the Dye-Swilley 1957 Corvette Race Car.
