We are a restoration shop in Oregon and we specialize in pre 1967
Corvettes. We did not restore this particular car, but we have done
service work to it.
This is an extremely
nice and very rare example of a frame off restored Pennant Blue
1955 Corvette. It was exported new in 1955 by Merk Chevrolet to the
Middle East and still has the export tag on the cowl. It has Received
NCRS Top Flight honors as well as a Duntov Award !! The odometer reads
64676, but that is Kilometers as it still has its original speedometer
it was sent abroad with !!
It is the 64th
car built, and there was only 45 of 700 cars painted blue that year
& being that it was exported makes it pretty much 1 of a kind
!!
The options
include: 265/195 V8, Powerglide Automatic Transmission, Directional
signals, Heater, Signal Seeking Radio, 6.70 x 15" Whitewall Tires,
Parking Brake alarm, Courtesy Lights & Windshield washers. Most all
factory correct components including the spare, jack, jack tools, trunk
mat, trunk liner, rebound straps, spiral shocks, shifter, shielding,
braided wires, air cleaner, generator, side curtains, side curtain bag,
and owners manuals.
The underneath of
the car is as nice as the top !! The car drives impeccably nice
& runs perfect !! I also have a 1953 Corvette similar to this one for sale !!
Buyer
responsible for shipping and I will help get the car to the
shipper on my end. $5000.00 due within 72 hours via Fed Ex &
balance due within 7 days of auction
end.
