Believe it or not,
this auction really is for an all original 1954 corvette with ~16,000
original miles. However, I have a feeling that I will have to
relist this item once I've learned more about this vehicle. I
encourage all interested parties to contact me directly so I may share
with you all the details.
This 1954 corvette is the property of my stepfather who is
interested in selling this vehicle either this Fall 06' or this coming
Spring 07'.
I thought I was somewhat prepared to list this vehicle as I took
many photos, however I'm sure you all have many questions and I will do
my best to answer them. One way or another, I should be able to
address any questions you may have either directly or through my
stepfather.
He purchased this vehicle a number or years back from a private
seller who I believe was the second owner. He had bought this
vehicle from a guy who basically kept this corvette in a time capsule
from what I understand.
This corvette is in great working condition and runs like a
champ. My stepfather and I took it for a spin around the
neighborhood just the other day when I took these
photos. He also has the orginal tires for this vehicle although
they are no longer on the actual car.
PLEASE NOTE: I guessed on certain specifics about this vehicle
above. For instance, I do not know the number of cylinders for
this vehicle.
I have tried to find a corvette expert or broker to represent this
car for a fee, but I don't really know where to go so I figure I'll
list on ebay and see what happens.

Thank you all for your excellent questions.
I just spoke with my stepfather regarding the questions I have recieved about the corvette.
Immediately, I was able to get the serial # E54S002335.
The engine is a Blue Flame 6.
As for the rest of the questions and requests for certain pictures,
I hope to address them all tomorrow evening when I travel the two hours
to go over details with my stepfather and further photograph the
vehicle.
I hope to post those details on ebay by Wednesday or Thursday evening.

On Wednesday evening, I was able to get more details and take more
pictures of the corvette based on ebay requests. I have pictures
available from all angles. I also have pictures of the engine, serial #
and elsewhere.
Here are some extra details about the corvette:
I have been informed this car has never had a body off restoration and
does in fact have 16,803 original miles. Supposedly, this claim has
been given added credibility based on a tachometer/hobbs meter/some
meter (I'm not a corvette expert or mechanic) that shows 1/10s of hours
the car has been run and according to an independent reviewer a few
years back stated that the mileage and meter seemed to match up. He
also stated he was confident the car was in fact original based on his
inspection.
*The car was bought by my stepfather from the antique auto show in
Hershey, PA.
*Here are further details about the car.
All is original except:
*the tires have been replaced (however, the original tires are in my
stepfather's possession and come with the car)
*original head lamps were replaced because of something about needing
brighter lights (my stepfather couldn't remember the details of why,
but he also has the original head lamps which come with the car).
*the convertible top has been replaced *the only missing original parts
are the battery hold down and oil dip stick (currently capped).
*my stepfather says he has no documentation on this car, however, I'm
not trying to hide anything. Please investigate the serial #, feel free
to arrange an appointment for yourself or an expert of your choice to
review the car inside and out or present to me whatever other needs you
may have to verify the authenticity of this amazing and very rare
condition 1954 Corvette.
*I'm not sure if ebay will let me post extra pics in the midst of the
auction, but I'll try. If not, I'll try to put together a separate
e-mail supplement with the new pictures.

Ps. Please note. I may or may not post this corvette on ebay one more
time if I'm not able to work out all these details up to the
expectations of a legitimate bidder willing to pay a fair price. If I'm
not able to orchestrate the auction/sale of this vehicle up to my and
your expectations based on the effort and limited expertise I am
offering, then I will most likely hand the responsibility of
selling/auctioning this corvette over to a number of corvette
specialists/brokers who have already contacted me and have expressed
great interest in representing this vehicle. Unfortunately for all of
you, they will certainly require a fairly large representation fee
which may in turn raise the price any of you may be able to attain this
