Featured here for sale for the very first time is this very rare 1954
Corvette #3349. This beauty was purchased from the original owner in
1960 and only has 64,181 miles on it. The car still has its original
Blue Flame 6-cyl engine and runs absolutely great! The owner in the
mid-sixties changed the side-draft carbs to a single Carter 4-barrel
and installed a 3-speed manual transmission. He held onto the original
aluminum manifold, carbs & also the original Powerglide
transmission. These will be included with the sale of the car. Also
included are the original wheels, hubcaps, extra side curtains &
misc. parts. The overall condition of the car is very good. The frame
is rust free and the undercarriage is not bad at all! The car has its
original interior except for the carpet and headliner of the hardtop.
Most of all the electrical works great; lights, blinkers, horn, etc.
The tach is un-hooked and needs the correct gear drive. The car runs
and drives very well and is very reliable. The brakes pull a little to
the right when applied and could use some adjusting. The body on the
Corvette looks great, but could use a repaint. There are some bubbles
here and there. Trunk looks great, and even has the original jacking
instructions! Over the years the owner has taken exceptional care of
this rare Corvette. It has never been offered for sale anywhere! This
is a truly rare find and can be bought at a reasonable & realistic
price.
