You are bidding on a rare and desirable black 1954 Corvette roadster. This car spent most of its life in the Oregon and California area. It was frame off restored in 1997 and 1998 by then National judging team leader and N.C.R.S technical advisor David ferguson. In the following year it received it's first of two NCRS top Flights. As such this is a matching numbers car and restored to the highest standards. The car can be seen also in the "Collectible magazine" of August 1998, page 15. History goes back to the 1970's only with receipts, copies of titles and various documents.
It was again Top Flighted in 2006. Car will come with all ribbons, Top Flight certificates and N.C.R.S judging sheets. Car has been trailered to shows and driven locally a total of 800 miles only since 1998.
"Blackwidow", as it is known here in Montreal has been in newspapers, TV shows, magazines and was also a special feature at the 2006 Montreal International auto show. Unfortunately I put in a small rip in the canvas top on the passenger side at that time. It is barely visible but still it broke my heart...There is also a small chip the size of the tip of a pen on the passenger fender. Otherwise the car is perfect in everyway!
